NGK manufactures two kinds of silicon carbide refractories, TECSIRON and CATARON. TECSIRON is nitride bonded and CATARON is oxide bonded. The both are available in many types made of different composition, and also can be provided in large size of any complex shape. They have already been employed for the firing of many products, such as electronic components and tiles.
