Since its first acquisition of ISO 9001, which was for insulators and hardware fittings in December 1993, NGK, along with its domestic and international subsidiaries and affiliates, has actively engaged in acquiring ISO 9000 core certifications. The acquisition at this time by NGK Frit is the 20th out of 58 NGK group companies.
