NGK Insulators, Ltd.(President: Masaharu Shibata, Head Office: Nagoya) established a production and sales company of molds, NGK Fine Molds, Ltd., merging a molds production company, NGK Molds, Ltd. (President: Hidetugu Kato, Head office: Handa), and a molds sales company, NGK Bealon, Ltd.(President: Kazuo Ikushima, Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo). NGK had supplied casting molds , which were industrial processed from beryllium-copper, aluminum alloy, and steel by NGK's original precision casting technique, to the automotive industry and the tire industry: however, in quick response to the current market demands. NGK decided to unite a production function and a sales function in one company, NGK Fine Molds, Ltd.
The most significant benefit to unite production and sale is that the communication between the two becomes more frequent and smooth; in other words, the users' demands can be reached to the production side more efficiently with less miscommunication. Because of these benefits, NGK Fine Molds, Ltd. pursues to develop higher quality of products reflecting the users' demands; shorten the delivery period; and offer the more sufficient after-sale service to the users. In addition, NGK Fine Molds, Ltd. is planning to establish a Worldwide service network in charge of repairing molds and re-texturing for its customers' overseas operations.
