Major Initiatives in 2008
  • Operated NAS® battery systems in the world’s first facilities to combine storage batteries with a wind power plant (located in Rokkasho, Aomori Prefecture, Japan) and a large-scale solar power plant (Wakkanai, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan)
  • First in the world to commercialize high-precision NOx sensors
